-
-
Domain Name Registration
Regery may act as direct registrar or as indirect reseller. Please be aware of the following important points regarding the registration service:- Registration Effectiveness: A domain name registration is not active until the official registry operator applies it to their database. Registrations are for a limited term that ends on the expiration date.
- Service, Not Property: You understand and agree that a domain name registration is a service we provide pursuant to this Agreement. It does not create a property interest and cannot exist independently of such a service.
- Registry Actions: We are not liable for any errors, omissions, or other actions by the registry administrator related to your request to register, renew, modify, or transfer a domain name.
- Accredited Partners Actions: We are not liable for any errors, omissions, or other actions by the partner related to your request to register, renew, modify, or transfer a domain name.
-
Acceptable Use Policy You agree not to use Regery’s Services, or allow anyone else to use them, for any illegal or abusive purpose. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Illegal or Harmful Content: Violating any applicable laws or distributing content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against any group.
- Spam & Abuse: Sending unsolicited bulk email, making high-volume automated queries to our systems, or engaging in spamming or mail bombing.
- Fraud & Deception: Engaging in phishing, identity deception, domain impersonation, fraudulent schemes, or distributing counterfeit goods.
- Intellectual Property: Infringing on any copyright, trademark, patent, or other proprietary rights of a third party
- Malicious Software: Distributing viruses, malware, Trojan horses, botnets, or any other harmful code.
- Restricted Activities: Hosting illegal gambling, unauthorized pharmacies, pyramid schemes, "warez", “darknet”, torrent portals, or unauthorized proxy servers.
-
Enforcement and System Abuse
You agree that Regery reserves the right to suspend or delete your domain name if you engage in activities that violate applicable law or this Agreement.
If you use Regery DNS servers, URL forwarding, or any other systems, you are responsible for ensuring that your use does not place an excessive load on our infrastructure. Abusive attacks originating from your domain—including mail bombs, packet flooding, corruption, hacking, or other security breaches—are strictly prohibited.
We reserve the right to deactivate your domain name within our DNS system if we determine that activities associated with your site threaten the stability or security of our network.
-
Your Obligations for Sensitive Data
If you collect or maintain sensitive data, including health or financial information, you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes implementing any specific security measures required for your sector to protect such data. -
Managing Your Account Data
You can access, review, update, and download the data associated with your domain name registration by signing into your Regery account.
If you request the deletion of your personal data, please note that we will honor your request to the extent possible. However, certain data is necessary to provide the Services you have purchased and to comply with our legal, contractual, and legitimate business obligations. In such cases, complete deletion may not be possible.
Please be aware that deleting data required to provision a service may result in the cancellation or suspension of that service. If you need any assistance managing your data, our support team is available to help. -
Your Responsibility for Domain Name Use
Please be aware that our Services do not include screening to determine if a domain name you select or use infringes upon the legal rights of others. You are solely responsible for ensuring your domain name does not infringe upon trademarks, copyrights, or other rights.
It is your responsibility to maintain accurate contact information in your account so you can be reached in the event of a dispute. We are not obligated to forward court orders or other legal communications to you.
We will comply with any binding court order requiring the cancellation, modification, or transfer of your domain name unless you formally contest the order and provide us with legal documentation supporting your claim.
-
Indemnification and Legal Proceedings
If Regery is faced with a legal or administrative proceeding (such as a lawsuit or threat of one) arising from the Services provided to you, you agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from all related claims and expenses, including legal fees and court costs.
Upon our request, you must secure a performance bond from a reputable company. If you are unable to obtain a bond, you will be required to deposit funds with us to cover our reasonably anticipated legal expenses for the coming year.
- We will draw from this deposit as expenses are incurred and will send account notices to the WHOIS contact information you have provided.
- We are not obligated to extend credit for these expenses and may terminate your Services if you fail to make or renew the required deposit.
- Any unused portion of the deposit will be returned to you after the later of: (a) three months from the deposit date, or (b) the conclusion of the legal matter.
-
Dispute Resolution Policy
You agree to comply with all ICANN consensus policies and all applicable registry policies, including but not limited to: (i) the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), and its related rules and supplemental rules; and (ii) the Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS), and supplemental rules. The UDRP and URS policies may be amended by ICANN (or its successor organization) at any time. If the registration or use of your domain name is challenged by a third party, you will be subject to the versions of the UDRP and URS that are in effect at the time of the dispute. In the event of any domain name dispute, you agree to indemnify and hold Regery harmless in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the UDRP and URS. If your domain name becomes the subject of litigation or similar proceedings, Regery may suspend your ability to use, update, or transfer the affected domain name(s), and may, at its discretion, deposit control of the domain name record with the appropriate judicial authority.
- Binding Process: If a third party challenges your domain name registration, you will be subject to the UDRP ad URS provisions in effect at that time.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Regery harmless from any claims arising from such a dispute, as per the UDRP and URS Rules.
- Your Responsibility: It is critical that you regularly monitor the email address associated with your account and domain. Failure to respond promptly to a dispute-related notification may result in the loss of your domain name.
-

-
Non-Standard Domain Lifecycles
Certain domain registries may not follow the generally adopted standard domain lifecycle model and may not support features such as Auto-Renew Grace Period, Redemption Period, Renewal operation, or Restore operation. Such registries therefore require non-standard domain lifecycle handling. Examples of such non-standard behavior include:- Renewal offset application: a shift applied to the expiration date that determines the actual renewal due date and subsequent domain deletion date. Examples include SIDN (.NL), EURid (.EU), and certain other registries.
- Renewal operation limitations: registries that allow renewal only for a limited period (for example, one year at a time) and/or only within a specific renewal window prior to the expiration date.
-
-

To initiate a transfer, you must first log into your account to unlock the domain and obtain the required "AuthCode" (also known as an EPP code).
Please note the following key conditions:
- Authorization: The account owner or registered name holder or administrative contact listed in the WHOIS can approve a transfer.

You are obligated to defend us using legal counsel of our choice in any such proceeding. This indemnification obligation survives the termination of this Agreement and is in addition to any requirements under the UDRP.
-
Right to Transfer Domains in a Bulk Transfer

Legal Capacity
You represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into this binding Agreement. -
Enforcement and Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later. A waiver of any breach of a provision is not a waiver of the provision itself for future instances. -
No Partnership or Agency
Except for your explicit authorization for us to act as your "Designated Agent" for certain domain name changes, nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create an agency, partnership, or joint venture between you and Regery. Neither party may represent such a relationship exists. -
