Register a domain in the .PRO domain zone

The .Pro domain is the perfect solution for professionals

If you want to work professionally in your field, you will need a pro domain that can be relevant regardless of the type of activity. It belongs to the category of international top-level site names; it appeared quite a long time ago, in 2004, and is one of the most common in its class.

What do you need to know about a domain?

At first, only subdomains designed for specific categories of users could be used. For example, engineers were offered the eng.pro extension. However, since 2008, the top-level zone has also been open to a large audience of users, which made it possible to expand their capabilities and create ideal conditions for full-time work. Until the very end of 2015, domain registration in the pro zone required the client to provide a document certifying his qualification in the chosen profession. In particular, it could be a document containing a license number, but today this is not a mandatory requirement; anyone can register.

The purchased PRO domain will be an excellent solution in the event that you need to gain popularity among a large audience of customers. For example, when it is important to create your own customer base, you need to provide a guarantee of your ability, a kind of image that will be a practical solution, because you can get real professionals at your disposal.

Currently, you can buy a PRO domain much cheaper than a similar top-level extension, but the undoubted benefit will be much higher, which is definitely recommended to pay attention to. Only one minute of free time will be spent, but you can count on receiving a very real benefit for your own site. It is important to consider the main characteristics and criteria of the specified extension, which it is recommended that every user pay attention to.

Characteristics of the .PRO domain zone

How do .PRO domains differ from similar offers in this market segment? Registration is issued for a period of 1-10 years, the period may vary, depending on how practical it becomes to use the expansion opportunities.

Registration is carried out in real time; IDNs are not supported, which the client should take into account. To set a name on a pro domain, you need to fill in a field with a size of 4-63 characters. These boundaries cannot be violated, otherwise the name will not be recorded. It is possible to use the Latin alphabet, as well as numbers, which will allow the most practical, rational use of the possibility of naming names. After the registration period expires, the domain is deleted within 35 days. You can restore a domain within 30 days after the domain has expired; the process does not take much time, but the cost of restoration during this period is much higher than the cost of renewal.
