Domain Registration Data Disclosure Policy

At Regery, your privacy and security are our top priority. We stand as a shield for your personal information. While we may be required to share information by law or valid legal requests, we handle every disclosure with the utmost care and strict adherence to legal and policy standards. Before sending a request to Regery, please check out our guidelines below.

Official Legal Disclosures

Information Disclosure for Legal Authorities
Regery is committed to cooperating with law enforcement and will comply with lawful requests that are supported by a valid subpoena, warrant, or court order. Send such requests to [email protected]. For other concerns, such as copyright or abuse issues, please use our dedicated Report Abuse Form.

Disclosure for Court Order or Subpoena
Regery will disclose contact information data in response to valid subpoena or court order. Such requests should be sent by email to [email protected] or via online contact form.

Filing a civil action for a domain name does not require you to obtain registrant data beforehand. After your case is filed, you may submit a valid subpoena or comparable court order from that case to Regery to request disclosure. Importantly, Regery should not be named as a defendant in a case solely to obtain registrant information.

Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) / URS
When a UDRP or URS proceeding is initiated, Regery will work with the approved dispute provider to supply the necessary registrant information as part of the official process. There's no need to contact us for this data beforehand—the dispute provider obtains everything they need directly through the procedure.

Information Disclosure Non-Law Enforcement Request
For any disclosure requests that don't fit the categories listed above, you can email us at [email protected]. We evaluate every unique situation individually and with care.

Please note that all decisions regarding information disclosure are made at Regery's sole discretion, in compliance with applicable law and our data protection responsibilities. We take the integrity of this process seriously. We may reject or limit future requests from parties who misuse our systems, provide false information, or act in bad faith. If such action is taken, we will provide a written notification to the requestor.

In all cases, Regery is committed to transparency. We document our decision-making process, including how we balance the privacy rights of the individual with the legitimate interests of the requestor, and we communicate this where applicable.

How to Request Data Disclosure
To request registration data, please email us at [email protected] with all of the following information clearly included in your written request:

  • Requester's full name and contact information (email, phone, etc.).
  • Professional role or affiliation (e.g., Law Enforcement, Attorney, Individual).
  • Proof of authorization (if you are acting on behalf of another person or entity).
  • The specific domain name(s) and the exact registration data you are seeking.
  • The legal basis for your request and a clear explanation of its purpose.
  • A statement of good faith, confirming the information in your request is accurate and necessary.
  • An agreement to use any disclosed data lawfully and in compliance with relevant privacy regulations.

We acknowledge properly submitted requests within 2 business days. You can expect a substantive response or final decision within 30 calendar days, barring any exceptional circumstances. All communications will be sent to the email address you provide.

If we deny your request—in whole or in part—we will provide a clear, written explanation outlining the specific reasons (such as legal, contractual, or privacy grounds). Where relevant, this explanation will include how we balanced the data subject's privacy rights against the interests presented in your request.
